Comprehensive visual identity, story, and branding of the city destination Kranj, including the design of all communication and promotional elements.

Vision: Kranj Squared.

By 2027, Kranj will be a destination with a double strength of experience. As a city with green countryside on the edge of the Alps, it will be known for its dual character: leisure and cultural tourism, as well as business and sports tourism. With its urban pulse, cultural experiences, and outdoor activities, Kranj will captivate both residents and tourists.

Brand Book for Destination Kranj

In 2016, we worked with ZTK Kranj to develop a comprehensive visual identity manual and precisely defined the brand's positioning with the brand manager and all partners.

 

Communication and Story

The story of Kranj is a story of duality. The omnipresent contrasts and opposites give Kranj its main marketing advantage and strength. The character of Kranj is both urban and artistic, yet closely connected with nature and sports. Here, sport and culture, city and nature intertwine. From the heights, the bell tower of St. Kancian overlooks mysterious underground tunnels, while the Sava and Kokra rivers embrace the city on the rock. Here, Alpine Air meets City Flair.
