VINTGAR GORGE.
A CELEBRATION OF NATURE.
CLIENT
Soteska Vintgar d.o.o. & Gorje Tourist Association
Vintgar Gorge is an eternal source of fascination and a mirror of our journey through time. We Vintgar our way through life and through the gorge. Our video and photo story follows a visitor from Germany who first experienced this gorge of all gorges as a girl, returned as a young woman in love and visits it today as an adult.
Vintgaring through life, every 20 years
For Slovenian and international visitors alike, Vintgar Gorge is an experience that stays with you. It is a symbol of adventure and mystery, and a celebration of nature, its beauty and its power. In Vintgar, you feel embraced by something greater than yourself.
We developed a bold original script. Together with the wider team, creative director Neja Petek, director Jaša Koceli and director of photography Luka Furlan created a video story about Vintgar Gorge – a celebration of nature that visitors never forget.

Vintgar Gorge, The King of Triglav Trail and The River of Trees Trail
In cooperation with photographers Katja Jemec and Jošt Gantar, we created visual stories of Vintgaring through Vintgar Gorge and along its two circular thematic return trails. After leaving the gorge, the trails invite visitors to continue exploring Triglav National Park before returning to the VINTGAR Visitor Centre.
The King of Triglav Trail takes visitors on an Alpine Vintgaring experience, leading them to exceptional viewpoints and introducing the stories of local people, the first guardians of Vintgar Gorge.
Along The River of Trees Trail, a Forest Vintgaring experience reveals the invisible networks of nature, where even the smallest living being plays an important role.
Audio stories in Vintgar Gorge
In cooperation with the teams of the Gorje Tourist Association and Vintgar Gorge, as well as forest therapy guide Maja Žerovnik, we developed a comprehensive interpretation of Vintgar Gorge. We produced audio stories accessible via QR codes throughout the gorge and along The King of Triglav Trail and The River of Trees Trail. While walking the 1,600-metre one-way route along wooden footbridges, visitors can now listen to stories about the people, animals and natural forces that have shaped Vintgar Gorge over thousands of years.
A special part of the project was the creation of scripted and directed audio meditations, combining authentic sounds recorded in Vintgar Gorge, musical elements and guided breathing techniques. The result is two guided meditations featuring breathing exercises and sounds from the gorge, which visitors receive as a gift to take home after experiencing Vintgar Gorge.
