To Zasavje! To Transform. Guided by the flow of the Sava River, its industrial heritage and green transition, the region is confidently establishing its place on the Slovenian and European tourism map. Together with the Regional Development Agency Zasavje, the municipalities of Hrastnik, Litija, Trbovlje and Zagorje ob Savi, and Goodplace, we are developing the Zasavje Tourism Development Strategy 2035.
Following the flow of the Sava River onto the Slovenian and European tourism map
Together, we are guiding the region towards the sustainable development of tourism at the intersection of cultural and natural heritage, new technologies and innovation.
The process is rooted in the principles of sustainability, the regeneration of communities and the environment, and a form of tourism that benefits people, places and nature, while supporting the long-term development of social and ecological systems.
The strategy will be the result of a participatory process bringing together the municipalities, the Regional Development Agency Zasavje, tourism providers, businesses and local communities.
